Key responsibilities:
Will be responsible to meet and exceed our sales targets and for the growth of our distributor network in Eastern China in various sectors
? Work with National Sales Manager to execute sales plan, including; product mix, keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
? Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
? Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets; distributors and key accounts
? Meet or exceed specific goals for profitable revenue growth.
? Develop and implement regional sales plans.
? Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with the various distributors and key accounts
? Pursue identified business prospects, participating actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities.
? Executes weekly reporting to the G.M. and National Sales Manager of all sales activities in relationship to the sales plan
? Responsible for maintaining the Regional sales quota per quarter
Skills/qualifications
? Proven sales experience, chemical industry strongly preferred
? Effective presentation skills
? Analytical and research skills
? Excellent written and verbal communication,
? Ability to develop, communicate, and implement vision, strategy, processes, and tactics to achieve regional targets
? Good spoken and written communication skills both in English and Mandarin (Reasonable and understandable spoken English, good English written skills for weekly reporting)
? Maintain professional appearance, executive presence able to influence senior decision-makers
? Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy
? High level of independence and business acumen
? Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)
? Knowledge of the specialty chemical industry in China preferred
? Minimum of five years of sales experience wholesale industrial business is required
? Carry out China market strategy including price and product strategy.
? Visit end users, study product applications and summarize application reports
? Set up and enhance the relationship between company and its customers
? Train customers, including the distributor sales team and end users
? Attend tradeshows or seminars within the region
? Interpersonal skills; good attitude, self-starter, team player, can-do attitude, works well with others.
