The Role:
The General Manager, North China will be based in Beijing and be part of the Management team of the China Cluster leading the Beijing, Dalian Tianjin teams and reporting directly to the General Manager - China. This position requires a leader, someone who can lead the team, provide direction and achieve results. Working closely with the General Manager, China to drive the business forward and help create a strategy for significant growth and expansion. Drive and improve systems, processes and create efficiencies within China.
Responsibilities:
? Participate in the development and execution of the long term strategic vision in China
? Continuing development and improvement in the company’s management systems, including implementation of Group policy procedures
? Responsible for all North China business operations, driving sales to budgeted EBITDA targets and delivering a consistent high level of service quality.
? Standardize and optimize processes to enable the highest level of service delivery and integration with corporate customers and assignees.
? Work closely with the functional leaders to manage the delivery of our core services.
? Enhance efficiency productivity whilst monitoring cost structures.
? Drive business development to further our leadership position in the industry.
Job Requirements
? Minimum 5 years of experience as a leader in a service or people based industry
? Excellent people management and leadership skills
? Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, someone who can gain credibility at all levels of an organization
? Detail oriented, good project management and organization skill, analytical and logical skills and sound business acumen
? Willing to work under pressure, result-oriented and meet tight deadlines.
? Functional leadership experience in a global matrix organisation
? Experience with established processes or quality programs
? Appropriate education within management, operations, finance and strategy
? Evidence of ongoing professional development
? Fluent English Mandarin
